SIBOS 2006 Highlights

Joel Schrevens, China Systems' Director for Trade Solutions, doing a demo

China Systems, was one of the exhibitors at the recently concluded SIBOS 2006 held at Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre in Darling Harbour, Sydney Australia, last October 9 – 13, 2006.

More than 5,000 delegates were present in the event, with attendance coming from the largest names in the financial industry around the world, checking out new products, services and IT solutions that will aid them in their respective businesses. SIBOS is indeed the ideal place for companies to expand business relationships and opportunities, network and shop for the solution they need as well as exchange ideas about what is important in today's business environment.

During the event, China Systems showcased its total trade finance and payments web – enabled back office and front end J2EE based solution. Joel Schrevens, China Systems' Director for Trade Finance Solution conducted demos of the Eximbills Enterprise solution, in real time.

Eximbills , our world renowned business model and toolkit is a proven solution used by 200+ customers in 600+ installations, in more than 75 countries worldwide

The system does not only meet the traditional trade finance and payments requirements but also offers banks a single platform for the deployment of its trade finance, open account and payment activities on a global basis, providing support for the full range of supply chain financing activities.

Indeed, many banks who have seen the system were very impressed of the capabilities of the powerful solution. The system integrates SWIFT's Trade Services Utility (TSU) capabilities both in its J2EE back office and front end solution, to fully support an open account processing model and enable a bank to provide competitive supply chain services.

With its integrated and interactive front and back office solution, our customers can fully use the power of the Internet, as it allows for more flexible exchange of information and lower cost transaction processing capabilities, than traditional solutions.

Business and technical experts from our worldwide offices in Europe , Middle East , America and Asia were there to show our solutions and discuss requirements with customers.

China Systems also featured Sally Harrison, Australia's well known aboriginal art painter, as guest who provided 4 artwork paintings. Mrs. Harrison created intricate and superb dotted paintings everyday. These were given to lucky Sibos delegates who visited China Systems‘stand during the entire Sibos week.

Without doubt, China Systems' participation in the Sibos event every year shows its underlying commitment in being the premier provider of trade finance solution to the banking industry for more than two decades.
