| September, 2008. China Systems, the world’s leading trade services solutions vendor, announced today that China International Electronic Commerce Center (CIECC) will utilize China Systems J2EE Enterprise Solutions in its new ambitious collaborative Trade Portal project.
The project’s target solution “Gold Trade” will enable a corporation to connect its ERP system directly to the electronic channels of banks' international settlement systems. The multi-bank platform will also provide CIECC’s expanding community of Chinese exporters with access to international settlement and trade finance services, via a single web based interface, using China Systems’ J2EE solution platform. The platform will act as a Financial Supply Chain services channel between banks and corporations, using physical supply chain and logistics information, which is vital data to support global payment and financing processes.
The Platform meets Banks’ demand in the provision of international settlement and trade finance services, whilst increasing their competitive edge by being able to focus on their core competitive trade services capacity. They can offer unique solutions to their customers via an enterprise class electronic trade finance platform, whilst the outsourced operation will reduce internal Bank costs. The SaaS (Sofware as a Service) concept of this project will accelerate the ROI and lower the TCO for all parties involved. New members will gain immediate access to the existing CIECC community of trading partners already using the service. As more corporations and banks will join the community, significant economies of scale are realised. On-boarding times will be significantly reduced using the SaaS model. Considering the vast amount of Chinese exporters, the network effect of the CIECC platform will potentially be tremendous.
CIECC will manage the operation directly, with China Systems providing technical support, software expertise and service consulting.
