| March 24, 2008. China Systems, the world’s largest trade services solutions vendor, announced today that the Transformation and Optimization Project of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank’s central document management system, which is integrated with Eximbills Enterprise, has gone live.
The bank felt the need for a centralized document management system when, beginning in September 2005, all its branches started using Eximbills Enterprise, China Systems’ flagship trade finance solution, as its new international trade services platform. With the rapid changes in the business environment and new technological advancements, SPDB aimed to optimize the full potential of Eximbills Enterprise.
Eximbills Enterprise ™ is an established global standard installed by many international banks to meet their trade services processing requirements. It combines a Rapid Application Development toolkit with a flexible base business model, providing support for Open Account, Supply Chain Finance, Factoring and Payments operations, aside from covering the full range of traditional Import and Export Trade Services.
In support of SPDB’s project, China Systems has modified and enhanced the bank’s original business flows, using its Eximbills Enterprise toolkit, thus fully utilizing the benefits of the centralized document processing center.
The successful implementation of this project allows SPDB Head Office to completely and efficiently process all its branches’ international business transactions on a single integrated platform, manage branch data more efficiently, and optimize document processing speed and business flows, thereby streamlining the bank’s overall international business operations.
